HISTORY

McCosker was established on the 6th September 1995, with the opening of head office at 19 Morgan Street, with only 12 personnel and 3 plant units.

Soon a relationship with Queensland Alumina Limited commenced and saw McCosker being awarded multiple civil projects.

Continued growth saw the opening of our purpose-built workshop on site at head office and a regional office opened in Mackay.

In 2005 we custom designed and built our very first Amphibious scroller in house, commissioned for Residue Management of Tailings Dams.

2010 saw us awarded our largest contract to date with LNG bulk earthworks and we hit our peak workforce of 750+ personnel.

By 2015 our scroller fleet had grown to 7 and we were awarded the Gladstone Engineering Alliance Innovator Award for “Scroller design, construct and operations”.

Since 2020 we have commenced operations in the Northern Territory, now have 550+ personnel and 500+ plant in our fleet with an 8th scroller currently being built.
